Public Hearing for Marion County CDBG-CV

The Marion County Commission will hold a public hearingon Monday, March 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at the Marion County Commission, 119Military Street North, Hamilton, Alabama 35570 to discuss the submission ofan application for FY2020 Community Development Block Grant-CV (CDBG-CV) programfunds. The County Commission wishes to obtain citizens' input on communityneeds within the County, particularly related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As partof the hearing process, citizens will be asked to verbally assist in thecompletion of a Needs Assessment document. Information to be presented includesthe amount of grant funds available, the range of eligible activities which maybe undertaken and a discussion of the proposed project the Marion CountyCommission intends to submit to the Alabama Department of Economic andCommunity Affairs (ADECA).
